Pegada de Gorila is a samba and percussion group that has been active in the Brazilian music scene for over a decade, bringing together musicians with well-established trajectories and a strong artistic identity. Founded in 2007, the group builds its path around samba as a living language, valuing its Afro-Brazilian roots and exploring body, rhythm, and collectivity as central elements of musical creation, while connecting rhythm, identity, and territory through performances of strong musical presence.

Papa do Pegada – 12th Edition
A monthly event held on the last Sunday of each month at Clube do CECAP, in Guarulhos. Conceived as a gathering of music, food, and shared experience, Papa do Gorila has become a space for the celebration of samba and popular culture.
Papá do Pegada
It began in February 2025, bringing together a samba circle and traditional dishes prepared by chefs Fernando Macaco and Fezinho.
